He will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, cabinet members and senior officials.

According to the Foreign Office, the Prime Minister will address the General Assembly to highlight Pakistan’s position on key global and regional issues.

He is expected to urge the international community to resolve longstanding disputes of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK) and Palestine, stressing the urgent need to end the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The Prime Minister’s speech will also cover Pakistan’s stance on regional security, climate change, terrorism, Islamophobia and sustainable development.

He will also participate in a meeting of select Islamic leaders with U.S. President Donald Trump to discuss regional and international peace and security.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with world leaders and senior UN officials to exchange views on issues of mutual interest. He will reaffirm Pakistan’s commitment to the UN Charter and its role in promoting peace, preventing conflicts, and advancing global prosperity.
