Sheila Jackson’s role in boosting Pak-US ties hailed

WASHINGTON: Chairperson of the House Congressional Pakistan Caucus Sheila Jackson Lee has for long served as a bridge between Pakistan and the United States.

This was stated by Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US Masood Khan in a message.

He said that Ms Jackson has worked with successive Pakistani governments and prominent leaders, playing a major role in strengthening relations between the two countries.

The ambassador said that Ms Jackson’s visits to Pakistan duringĀ  the 2005 earthquake and 2022 floods showed her empathy, solidarity, and support to the people of Pakistan by visiting them in person.

The ambassador in his message also wished for her early recovery from her current health issues.
