Shilpa Admits False Harassment Case Against Producer
MUMBAI: Indian television actress Shilpa Shinde has made a shocking revelation, admitting that the sexual harassment case she filed years ago against “Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain” producer Sanjay Kohli was not based on true allegations.
Speaking on a recent podcast with comedian Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Shilpa Shinde revisited the controversial episode from her career and openly acknowledged that the harassment claim was not accurate.
She explained that at the time, she was facing serious disputes over payments and contractual issues with the producers, and felt she had no other option to assert her rights, which led her to take legal action.
The actress further stated that the matter was eventually settled out of court, after which her pending dues were cleared. She also confirmed that relations between both parties have since normalized.
Shinde added that she has moved past the controversy and is now working again with Sanjay Kohli, saying that the misunderstandings between them have been resolved over time.
The case dates back to 2016, when Shilpa Shinde’s exit from the popular TV show “Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain” and her subsequent harassment allegations created a major stir in the Indian television industry. The issue remained in the spotlight for years, but her recent confession has reignited public debate around the matter.
