GUJRAT: At least six people lost their lives after their rivals opened firing on their vehicle over an old enmity in the city of Gujrat on Sunday.
According to police and the local administration, the incident took place in Dinga area where the motorcycle-borne suspects opened fire on the vehicle.
As a result of the firing, Zahid Nazim, Chaudhry Akhtar Randhir and his four security guards were killed.
According to the police, raids were being conducted to nab the killers and bring them to justice.
The inspector general of the Punjab police has taken notice of the incident and ordered the immediate arrest of the accused involved in the firing.
