WASHINGTON: A devastating storm has killed 37 people and injured dozens more in southeastern states of the United States of America. The storm also damaged properties worth billions of dollars.
According to a foreign news agency, the U.S. states of Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Alabama and Mississippi have been devastated by severe hurricanes.
At least 37 people were killed and dozens more injured, local authorities have confirmed fearing more deaths as reports were still coming.
More than 380,000 customers in coastal areas lost power, while 16 million people from Florida to the Carolinas were affected by the storm.
Additionally, after dissipating over the South and Midwest, the storm moved eastward.
