NEW York: At a function here, participants paid tributes to Pakistani nationals serving in the New York Police Department and contributing to the department’s professional working.
The event was held to celebrate “Pakistan Heritage and Resolution Month” being organized by New York Police Department.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US Masood Khan opened the function attended by a larger number of people from different walks of life.
Speaking on the occasion, the ambassador said that the outstanding performance of Pakistani-Americans in all walks of life in the US reflected the potential of our people. It is also indicative of the deepening bonds between Pakistan and the United States.
Mayor of New York City Mayor Eric Adams also spoke and paid tribute to the Pakistani police officers for serving the community with dedication, commitment and professional zeal.
He said he would continue support to Pakistani community in their efforts to excel in all walks of life.
