ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif held a meeting with British High Commissioner to Pakistan Jane Marriott in Islamabad on Thursday, during which both sides reviewed matters related to bilateral relations and future cooperation.
During the meeting, the Defence Minister reiterated Pakistan’s strong desire to further deepen and expand its bilateral relations with the United Kingdom, emphasizing continued engagement across areas of mutual interest.
Both sides exchanged detailed views on regional and international issues of mutual concern and agreed to maintain regular and constructive engagement, while reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening the longstanding partnership between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
