LAHORE: A seven-member committee has been formed by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) which will make decisions on national cricket, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi told a press conference in Lahore on Sunday.
Former cricketers Wahab Riaz, Muhammad Yousuf, Abdur Razzaq and Asad Shafiq will be among the committee members.
Mr Naqvi, who is also the interior minister, said there will be no chairman of the committee and all its seven members will have equal powers and its decisions will now be implemented by majority of members.
“The committee will decide every single decision from now on. Its members are our key players in management who will make decisions and I am sure that they will give good results,” said the PCB chairman.
The same selection committee will work for the Under 19 cricket, he added.
