MUZAFFARABAD: People of Azad Jammu and Kashmir are observing the Self-determination Day across the liberated territory on Sunday (today).
The day is being observed by the people to remind the world of the right to self-determination as the basic right of the people of Jammu and Kashmir that is still being denied to them by the Indian occupation regime.
The day is also to show solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir and to resolve that the people of the occupied territory will continue their struggle till they are given their due right as promised by the United Nations Security Council through its resolutions.
To celebrate the day, a public gathering will be held at Azadai Chowk in Muzaffarabad in which speakers will highlight the atrocities of the occupation forces in Kashmir. They will also call on the international community to ensure the people of Kashmir get their right to Self-determination without further delay.
