SRINAGAR: An Indian Army helicopter crashed in Illegaly Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, killing one pilot and injuring another.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian Army’s modern light helicopter Dhruv crashed in Jammu and Kashmir last night, killing the pilot and seriously injuring the co-pilot, whose condition is said to be critical. Indian helicopter in occupied Jammu and Kashmir was involved in the Republic Day celebrations.
Kathua District Police Chief SSP Shailendra Kumar Mishra had said that an Indian Army helicopter had made a crash landing near Lakhanpura in which both the pilots of the helicopter were injured and were shifted to a military hospital in Pathankot. The incident took place at 7:15 pm last night.
