ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday stated that a final agreed-upon text of peace deal between the US and Iran has been reached following ongoing mediation efforts by Pakistan.
In a statement shared on social media platform of X, the prime minister acknowledged the presence of “incessant misinformation campaigns” aimed at undermining the peace process. He emphasized that despite such efforts, meaningful progress has been achieved.
According to the statement, Pakistan is now working closely with both parties involved to finalize the next steps toward implementation of the agreement. The prime minister noted that peace is closer than ever before.
Officials say the development marks a significant breakthrough in diplomatic efforts, although further details regarding the parties involved and the timeline for implementation have not yet been disclosed.
