Air University and Huawei reach agreement to establish ICT Academy
ISLAMABAD: An agreement has been reached between Air University and Huawei Technologies Pakistan for setting up an ICT Academy. The purpose of establishing the academy is to promote modern technology and adopt world-renowned university enterprise cooperation model.
Air Academy will be the 24th Huawei ICT Academy. Students BS BS Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering associates will be able to obtain a Huawei certificate at the professional and professional level.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Kashif Kifayat said that Air University is the headquarters of the National Center for Cyber Security. The establishment of Huawei Academy here will attract other students to Air University as well. ۔ Mr. Zhang Wu, Director, Huawei Services, said that the world is constantly undergoing technological advancement, and it is important to focus on youth development programs to build a skilled team.
Vice Chancellor of the University Javed Ahmed said that this initiative of Huawei and Air University will benefit us in many ways. We will include Huawei certification in cybersecurity, IT and computer science in our course. This academy will help our faculty members to benefit from the expertise.
So far, more than 9,000 people in Pakistan have received global Huawei certificates. A memorandum was also signed at the end of the ceremony which was attended by Vice Chancellor of the University Air Marshal (Retd) Javed Ahmed, Dean Kashif Kifayat, Huawei Service Director Mr. Zhang Wu besides other concerned professors and members of both the organizations.
