Concerns expressed over deadly violence in Parachinar

Rights body calls on Amnesty International to take notice of human rights abuses in the region.

PESHAWAR: The Human Rights Council of Pakistan Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has strongly condemned killing of people in Parachinar, terming it “intolerable” and “cruel”.

The council has raised its voice against this brutality, demanding justice for the victims and their families. In a statement, the council expressed its deep concern over the escalating violence in the region.

The council has urged the authorities to take immediate action to stop the human rights violations in Parachinar and ensure the protection of human life.

The council has also appealed to Amnesty International to intervene in the matter and take notice of the human rights abuses in the region.

The council also called upon the Ministry of Human Rights and the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to take concrete steps to address the situation and ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice.
