In view of the increase of corona cases in educational institutions, the Federal Ministry of Education has sent proposals to the provinces. The provinces have been given three options to close educational institutions.
The education ministry’s proposals call on the provinces to close all educational institutions from November 24 to January 31. If this is not possible, then only primary schools should be closed from November 24 and middle schools from December 2, in the third phase, higher secondary schools should also be closed from December 15.
The Ministry of Education has proposed that in view of the Corona epidemic, the academic session should be extended to May 31 instead of March and the Matriculation and Intermediate examinations will be held in June 2021.
