ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has confirmed that former Prime Minister Imran Khan will be shifted to hospital again on February 25 for the administration of the second injection as part of his eye treatment.
Dr. Chaudhry explained that these injections can only be administered in specialized medical facilities, which is why Imran Khan will be temporarily moved to the hospital for the procedure.
Dr. Chaudhry added that the first injection was given to Imran Khan on January 25, while the second injection is scheduled for February 25. A third injection will be administered one month after the second. The minister said these specific injections cannot be given at general medical centers and must be administered in a hospital setting.
He reassured that the transfer to the hospital will be strictly for the purpose of receiving the injection and that once the medical procedure is completed, Imran Khan will be returned to his current location.
