Indian Army aggression on LoC, senior Indian diplomat summoned to Foreign Office
Two civilians were injured when the Indian Army opened fire on the LOC. The Foreign Office summoned the senior Indian diplomat and handed over a letter of protest. The spokesman said that India could not divert the world’s attention from the situation in occupied Kashmir.
According to a Foreign Office spokesman, the protest letter said that India was violating the 2003 ceasefire agreement by firing indiscriminately on the LOC. In the latest incident, two unarmed civilians were injured by the firing of the Indian Army. India’s deliberate targeting of innocent civilians is reprehensible. Indian actions pose a serious threat to peace in the region.
According to the spokesman, India has violated the ceasefire agreement 2970 times so far this year, killing 27 people and injuring 249 others. Allow the observer mission to work on the LOC.
