Govt sent summary to Petroleum Division to increase Rs 7 per litre in petroleum products

The government is preparing to increase the price of petroleum products by Rs 7 per liter. OGRA sent a summary to the Petroleum Division. NEPRA have also increased the price of electricity by Rs 1.11 per unit.

According to sources, an increase in the price of high speed diesel by Rs 7 per liter and petrol by Rs 5 per liter has been proposed. After the approval of the Prime Minister, the new prices will be announced on Tuesday which will be effective for 15 days.

On the other hand, NEPRA has increased the price of electricity by Rs 1.11 per unit in the context of September’s fuel price adjustment.
