KP’s politics being handed over to ‘traitors, says JUI-F chief

Fazlur Rehman says establishment is trying to make Pakistan strong but it is being blackmailed.

PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Molana Fazlur Rehman here on Friday said that those who were traitors of the nation were being handed over the reins of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and we are also being asked to join them, but we do politics of an ideology and will never join hands such elements.

Addressing a public gathering in Peshawar, Fazal said the establishment was being blackmailed while it was making efforts to make Pakistan strong. He said under a plan, a government was formed that destroyed the economy of the country and brought it at the brink of collapse.

Molana Fazal wondered who were working to create rifts and spoil relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan. We have no concerns about the internal politics of Afghanistan, but the two countries have centuries old relations and there should be a proper plan to promote these ties.

He said we should jointly work to put the country on track of development and foil conspiracies being hatched against Pakistan.
