ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Air Force IL-78 special plane arrived in Islamabad from China with 500,000 doses of anti-corona vaccine on Monday, Special Assistant on Health Dr. Faisal Sultan received the vaccine at airport.
The vaccine has been donated by the Chinese Prime Minister and will be administered to doctors and medical and non-medical staff serving in hospitals. On the other hand, all necessary steps have been taken to stockpile the vaccine in Islamabad.
All arrangements have also been made for the transfer of vaccines to the provinces, Vaccine Neuro Centers have been set up at the NCOC, however the Vaccine Coordination and Administration Centers have been set up at the provincial and district levels.
