A grant agreement of 18.5 million Euros has been signed between Pakistan and Germany. The Secretary Economic Affairs signed the agreement on behalf of the Government of Pakistan.
Under the agreement, Germany will provide funding to Pakistan in the areas of health, energy and climate change. 1.5 million Euros will be provided for Harpo Hydel Power Plant.
Furthermore, the aid money will also provide facilities for polio prevention and health-related problems of women.
