ISLAMABAD: The parliamentary party of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided not to boycott the upcoming budget session of the National Assembly and will instead participate in the proceedings while continuing protests.

The decision was made during a meeting of the PTI parliamentary party held in Islamabad, which concluded today. Party leadership confirmed that PTI lawmakers will attend the budget session but will also stage protests both inside and outside Parliament.

According to party sources, PTI has also decided to maintain its demand for a meeting with the party founder and his release. The party warned that protests would continue until the demand for a meeting is granted.

The development comes ahead of the federal budget presentation in the National Assembly, as political tensions continue over parliamentary participation and opposition strategy.
