Revealation of Israeli PM Netanyahu’s secret visit to Saudi Arabia
News of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s secret visit to Saudi Arabia is a hot topic in the international media. During a post-media visit, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, as per the media reports. The meeting was also attended by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Mossad chief UC Cohen.
The meeting focused on restoring ties between the two countries, but the Israeli prime minister’s office has not yet commented on the matter. It has been reported by a website privy to flights that the plane of the Israeli Prime Minister has landed in the Saudi city of Newem.
According to the Times of Israel, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu traveled to Saudi Arabia on Sunday to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. The high-level meeting lasted for five hours.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Monday that he had a “constructive” meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince, but did not comment on the Israeli leader’s presence.
Prior to this, US President Donald Trump had also claimed that Saudi Arabia would soon recognize Israel. Bahrain and Oman with the aim of persuading the countries of the region to maintain relations with Israel.
