LAHORE: The Punjab Council of the Arts (PCA) has issued notices to theatre managements across the province, directing them to strictly adhere to the prescribed timings for stage performances and comply with the notified Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
According to the notices, all theatre halls have been instructed to ensure punctuality in the staging of dramas. The Council has warned that legal action will be initiated against any theatre found violating the approved performance schedule or failing to implement the prescribed SOPs.
The directive was issued after the Council’s e-monitoring system revealed that several theatres were not complying with the designated timings for stage dramas.
The Punjab Council of the Arts has reiterated that strict compliance with performance schedules and regulatory guidelines is mandatory, adding that monitoring of theatres will continue to ensure implementation of the instructions.
