Thousands attend JI’s rally against Israeli terrorism in Gaza

Sirajul Haq says America never wants his party to win elections in Pakistan because JI will ensure independence of Kashmir and Palestine.

LAHORE: Thousands of people participated in a rally organized by Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) in Lahore to condemn Israeli terrorism and aggression in Gaza and to express solidarity with the people of Palestine.

The rally held at the Campus bridge Lahore was addressed by JI chief Sirajul Haq and others. Haq said that America never wants his party to win the elections in Pakistan.

“If we come to power, Kashmir and Palestine will not remain subjugated by the anti-Islam forces and they will get their long overdue freedom.”

He said that had the caretaker prime minister of Pakistan attended the rally it would have sent a very strong and positive message to the world. But the coward rulers will never dare to annoy their masters sitting in the West.

He said that by passing a dead and useless resolutions at the special OIC session in Saudi Arabia, the Muslim rulers gave a license to the Zionist state to continue its barbarism on the Palestinian people. Earlier, JI leader Senator Mushtaq Ahmed had also come down hard on the Muslim countries for their inaction and callous attitude towards the issue of Palestine where Israel has continued bombing and killing innocent civilians, including children and women.

After the recent OIC summit called by the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Senator Mushtaq said the summit proved that the Muslims countries were waiting for the fall of Gaza.

Others speakers on the occasion condemned the Israeli aggression on the people of Palestine and the silence of the major powers on the killings of innocent people and bombings on even hospitals and refugee camps in Gaza.
