Violent protests against controversial legislation escalate in France, dozens arrested

 

Anti-government protests have intensified in France, clashes between police and demonstrators in various cities including Paris have been erupted. From police’s teargas shelling and pelting stones several people were injured, while many others have been arrested.

Protests continue in France following reports of a controversial new government bill, which would make it a crime to take pictures of any police operation in France.
