JAMAICA: Cricket West Indies has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against Pakistan, with Roston Chase appointed as captain.
Left-arm spinner Joshua Bishop has earned his maiden call-up to the Test squad. Fast bowler Alzarri Joseph has been left out due to personal reasons.
The first Test will begin on July 25 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, while the second and final Test is scheduled to start on August 2.
The squad includes Roston Chase (captain), Jomel Warrican, Joshua Bishop, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Joshua Da Silva, Justin Greaves, Kevlon Hodge, Shai Hope, Amir Jangoo, Shamar Joseph, Brandon King, Kirk McKenzie, Kemar Roach, Jayden Seales, and Keemo Paul.
The series marks Pakistan’s latest Test assignment in the Caribbean, with both teams aiming for a strong start in the new red-ball season.
