Will Pakistan team participate in World Twenty20 in India? PCB response came-out

PCB made a big announcement about the serious allegations levelled against the national team skipper

 

Pakistan Cricket Board chief executive Wasim Khan says he has written to the International Cricket Council (ICC) for assurances on other issues, including visas, for the T20 World Cup in India in April next year. After the allegations against Babar Azam, the board also made a big announcement.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Executive Officer Wasim Khan while talking to reporters in Islamabad said that the Pakistan team will have Day 9 Corona Test in New Zealand tomorrow.

Continuing, he said that cricket has been discussed with New Zealand, at present the team is in isolation in New Zealand. Talking to Babar Azam, he was also talking about the practice of the players. Hopefully, the corona tests of all the players will be negative tomorrow.

Wasim Khan said that Pakistan Super League (PSL) has started preparations for season 6, the drafting process of players is being considered in the first week of January, plans have been made for the launch of PSL 6 on February 20.

The Chief Executive of the PCB said that the tour of the South African cricket team before the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 6 is being discussed and the tour of the South African team will be confirmed in two to four days.

Wasim Khan said that he has written to the ICC for assurances on visa and other issues for the upcoming World Twenty20 to be held in India, the ICC will decide on the hosting of the event.

Asked about the selection of the chief selector of the Pakistan cricket team, Wasim Khan said that talks were underway with two or three candidates for the post of chief selector.

Moreover, the PCB would make an announcement in this regard next week. Asked about the woman’s allegations against Azam, the PCB chief executive said it was his personal matter, but the board would help Babar Azam as much as they could.
