Riyadh lauded for evacuating Pakistanis from Sudan

Pakistan has lauded the strenuous efforts of Saudi Arabia for the safe evacuation of its nationals from the war-torn Sudan.

In an interview with Arab News, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Sudan Mir Behroz Regi said the evacuation of over 1000 Pakistani nationals would not have been possible without the help of Saudi Arabia amid fierce fighting between the rival factions.

He extended thanks to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for extending all-out assistance to Pakistanis expatriates in Jeddah including free hotel accommodation.

Regi said Pakistan mission in Port Sudan is open in a camp office to facilitate Pakistanis.
