Ambassador pays tribute to Pakistani doctors’ association in US

Expresses hope that under leadership of the new president APPNA will continue serving the community.

WASHINGTON: Pakistan’s ambassador to the US Masood Khan paid tribute to the outgoing president of the Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America Dr. Arshad Rehan for his contributions to the organization.

APPNA has been serving the Pakistani community in America and also playing an important role in philanthropic activities in Pakistan.

The ambassador of Pakistan lauded the role of the association in serving Pakistani-American community, providing healthcare support to Pakistan and charitable initiatives.

The association elected its new office-bearers and in his message the ambassador congratulated the new president Dr. Asif Mohiuddin.

He said Dr Mohiuddin’s election was the recognition of his professional accomplishments over the years.

He expressed the hope that under leadership of the new president APPNA will continue serving the Pakistani community as has been done by the association in the past.
