Armed Forces Taught Enemy Unforgettable Lesson: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan’s Armed Forces delivered a decisive response to the enemy, calling it a lesson that “will be remembered for generations.”

Addressing a federal cabinet meeting, the prime minister said the success of the operation—referred to as “Marka-e-Haq”—was celebrated across the country with enthusiasm, reflecting national unity and solidarity.

He noted that the entire nation stood united during the critical moment, praising the armed forces for defending the country with professionalism and determination.

Referring to the upcoming anniversary of Chagai nuclear tests on May 28, Sharif emphasized that Pakistan’s nuclear capability is solely for defense, adding that the country is recognized globally as a responsible nuclear power.

He also highlighted the historical role of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in initiating the nuclear program and Nawaz Sharif in bringing it to completion.

The prime minister concluded by stressing the need to transform Pakistan into a strong economic power, stating that the sacrifices of martyrs continue to inspire efforts toward national stability and development.
