ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly condemned Houthi threats targeting Saudi Arabia and commercial shipping in the Red Sea.
It reaffirmed its unwavering support for Saudi Arabia’s security, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Foreign Office said any hostile action against Pakistan-flagged vessels would be considered a threat to Pakistan’s national security and warned that attacks on the country’s maritime interests would not be tolerated.
Islamabad also called on all parties to respect international law, ensure the safety of global maritime navigation, and pursue dialogue and diplomacy to reduce regional tensions.
