Punjab Dispatches 15 Mobile Clinics to AJK

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has dispatched 15 Clinics on Wheels, fully equipped with essential medicines, to Azad Jammu and Kashmir to improve access to healthcare in remote and underserved areas.

Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir flagged off the mobile clinics, saying the initiative reflects the Punjab government’s commitment to extending quality healthcare services beyond the province.

He said the Clinics on Wheels programme, already operating in Punjab and Gilgit-Baltistan, is designed to bring modern medical care directly to communities with limited access to health facilities.

He added that the expansion to AJK demonstrates the government’s broader vision of improving healthcare access across Pakistan.
