PESHAWAR: The HR Conference 2025 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Edition brought together key industry leaders, HR professionals, and policymakers to explore strategies for empowering youth and transforming Pakistan’s workforce.
Keynote speaker Ayub Zakori, CEO of Zakori Industries, emphasized the importance of adaptability, digital literacy, and creative thinking for youth to thrive. The conference featured discussions on the shift from traditional to transformational HR practices, with speakers like Sohaib Hassan, CHRO of Pakistan Single Window, and Saeed Ali Gohar, Founder of HRPN, addressing people-driven leadership in HR.
The second session focused on bridging the gap between academia, industry, and policymakers, with experts like Prof. Dr. Nouman and Dr. Zia Ubaid stressing cross-sector collaboration to build a talent pipeline aligned with future market needs.
International leaders, including Diane Margaret from Chicago and Asima Azim from EY UK, shared insights on workforce transformation, while local leaders like Prof. Dr. Ghazala Yasmin and Zahid Mubarik discussed advancing HR standards and leadership excellence.
A panel on “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” highlighted the importance of gender balance in the workplace. Afternoon sessions included topics on digitalization, with experts like Dr. Safia Ahmad and Rashid Aman discussing the role of technology in today’s work environment.
The conference concluded with speakers praising HRCON’25 as a groundbreaking initiative for building a skilled, inclusive, and innovation-driven workforce in Pakistan.
