Indian forces intensify crackdown in occupied Kashmir

APHC leaders call upon international community and UN to take notice of Indian brutalities in occupied territory.

SRINAGAR: Occupying Indian forces continued their crackdowns and raids in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, entering houses and beating residents including women and elderly people.

These operations have drawn condemnation from rights defenders but the occupying forces are least concerns ad they are blindly following the agenda of the Hindu nationalist regime of Narendra Modi.

The crackdown in occupied Kashmir and discrimination of Muslims in other areas of India have intensified in recent months as general elections are due in India this year in which Modi wants to he reelected for the third term.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the latest wave of crackdowns has targeted leaders and activists of the Jamaat-e-Islami and Hurriyat organizations.

The situation has prompted calls for urgent international intervention, with activists and political leaders urging the global community to address India’s flagrant violations of international laws and norms in the territory.

It may be mentioned here that recently the Indian occupying forces brought in armed personnel carriers to augment their crackdowns on the Kashmiri people as they feared resistance in the occupied valley.

The APHC leaders have again called on the international community and the UN yo play their role in stopping India from further repression and killings and abductions in the occupied territory.
