LAHORE: Iranian airline Mahan Air has announced the resumption of its flight operations between Tehran and Lahore after a suspension of more than three months.

According to reports, the restoration of flights comes as part of a broader recovery of aviation operations that had been disrupted due to regional tensions, including the Iran–U.S. conflict.

Mahan Air will initially operate one weekly flight between Tehran and Lahore. The service is scheduled to resume from June 16, marking a significant step toward normalizing air travel between the two countries.

The route had remained suspended for over three months, affecting passengers and travel connectivity between Pakistan and Iran. The resumption is expected to ease travel difficulties and support business and cultural exchanges between the two nations.

Authorities have indicated that further expansion in flight frequency may be considered depending on demand and regional stability.
