PPP, PML-N Candidates Join IPP Ahead of AJK Elections

MUZAFFARABAD: In a political development ahead of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir elections, assembly candidates from the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) announced their decision to join the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).

Malik Zulfiqar Ali, contesting from LA-8, and Malik Muhammad Yousaf from LA-10 met IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan, who welcomed them into the party.

He said the IPP aimed to address long-standing issues in Azad Kashmir, improve infrastructure and create employment opportunities.

The meeting was also attended by IPP MNA Awn Chaudhry, local government representatives, and several political and social figures who expressed support for the party.

Abdul Aleem Khan said the IPP would actively participate in the upcoming Azad Kashmir elections.
