KARACHI: Several international airlines have extended flight suspensions and route disruptions through August, September and October due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
This is causing travel disruptions for passengers heading to Dubai and other regional destinations.
Affected carriers include Aegean Airlines, Air Astana, Air Canada, Air France, airBaltic, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, ITA Airways, KLM, Lufthansa Group, Philippine Airlines, Scoot, Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines and Wizz Air.
Turkish Airlines has resumed flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Damascus, Beirut and Amman, but services to Iran remain suspended. Wizz Air has also suspended flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Amman, with operations expected to resume in September.
Passengers are advised to check directly with their airline before travelling, as schedules and resumption dates may change.
