ATC announce life imprisonment for culprits in Imran Farooq Muder Case

ISLAMABAD: The Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has announced life imprisonment for all three perpetrators Khalid Shamim, Muazzem Ali, and Mohsin Ali Syed in Muttaheda Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Imran Farooq Murder case on Thrusday.
The ATC Judge Shahrukh Arjumand while delivering verdict reserved on 21st May, said it is proved that the three perpetrators were involved in conspiracy, abetting and aiding the assasination of Imran Farooq.
The court has directed the relatives of the three culprits each to pay 10 lakh to the family of the person being assasinated. While the court has been issued permanent warrants of the advertised offenders in the murder case the founder of MQM, Iftikhar Hussein, Muhammad Anwer, and Kashif Kamran.
Dr. Imran Farooq had been killed on 26 September 2010 in London when he was on the way from super store to home. Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had registered a case on 5 August 2015.
