SHO martyred, two injured in bomb blast in Khuzdar
Caretaker interior minister says terrorism has become biggest challenge for law enforcement agencies.
KHUZDAR (BALOCHISTAN): The station house officer of the Counter-Terrorism Department police station in Khuzdar lost his life in a bomb blast that targeted his vehicle on Sunday.
The SHO Khuzdar police station said that the vehicle of the SHO CTD police station Muhammad Murad Jamot was hit by the IED blast on Sultan Ibrahim Road. Two officials of the CTD were also injured in the explosion, he added.
Police and officials of other law enforcement agencies reached the area and cordoned it off for collecting evidence to trace the culprits.
Caretaker interior minister Sarfraz Bugti, as usual, condemned the incident and said terrorism had become the biggest challenge for all the law enforcement agencies.
He said that it was a war not only for the CTD but all the law enforcement agencies rather the whole nation.
