Maximum Democratic Values Will Bring In Judiciary: Chief Justice

LAHORE: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed has said that maximum democratic values will bring ​​in the judiciary and will move forward under those values.

Addressing the lawyers at the Punjab Bar Council in Lahore, Justice Gulzar Ahmed said that we are finding new ways to reduce the distance between the bench and the bar. The distance between the lawyers and the judges has been reduced considerably.

He said in case of matters between judges, both are put into practice with confidence. Many cases of judges have been rectified with the consultation of lawyers. More judges will be recruited through mutual consultation.

The Chief Justice said that the legal community should come up with new ways in their work. Since I became a judge, no lawyer has opened a law book in front of me. At one time, I was a very warm-hearted lawyer. Lawyers should not be violent in any way. There is no need to fight the masters, there is no difference between lawyers and judges, we will bring democratic values ​​in our system, we will move forward under these democratic values.
