Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said that the government of Pakistan has decided to buy the vaccine from China to prevent the outbreak of Corona Virus.
Fawad Chaudhry said in a tweet on Thrudsday that the cabinet committee had decided to buy the anti-corona vaccine from China.
He said that the government of Pakistan would initially purchase 1.4 million doses of the vaccine and the vaccine would be provided free of cost to other workers including frontline doctors and paramedics during the first quarter of 2021.
The Federal Minister for Science and Technology said in his social media statement that private sector companies in Pakistan can also import vaccines against corona.
