WASHINGTON: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Masood Khan at a meeting with veteran US Congressman Jack Bergman discussed bilateral ties in different fields, especially defense and security.
The meeting of the ambassador with US Congressman focussed on ways and means to further enhance the relations between the two countries.
Jack Bergman is serving in the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, the House Armed Services Committee and the House Budget Committee.
A press release said that the meeting between the ambassador and the Congressman was highly productive. The two sides discussed measures aimed at further strengthening Pak-US cooperation in the areas of defence and security, trade and investment, education, parliamentary exchanges and diaspora linkages.
They also discussed matters relating to security issues concerning to regional abd international peace.
