ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has asked newly appointed attaches to serve the Pakistani community living in different countries of the world to the best of their capability.
He stated this while speaking to a group of newly appointed attaches before their departure for Pakistani missions abroad.
He said that the officials in Pakistan’s foreign missions should always work for the best interest of the country and the Pakistani community in foreign countries.
He said that all the attaches had been appointed on merit and he was hopeful that they would discharge their duties with full dedication and sincerity. He was of the opinion that the advised that the welfare of the overseas Pakistani community should be their top priority.
“Overseas Pakistanis who are bringing valuable foreign exchange worth billions of dollars to Pakistan are our assets,” he said.
The prime minister also asked them to help bring foreign investment for Pakistan by highlighting the investment opportunities and conducive environment in the country.
