ISLAMABAD: Deaths in shipwrecks, arrests and deportations of Pakistanis from different countries continue as 139 more illegal migrants were deported from 10 countries in the last just two days.

These illegal migrants were kicked out from Mauritania, Senegal, Malaysia, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar. As many as 15 of these deportees were arrested soon after their arrival in Karachi.

According to Federal Investigation Agency, 34 Pakistanis were expelled for illegally entering Iraq and overstaying, of which two were handed over to Gujranwala police after they returned home.

Immigration sources say 24 Pakistanis were expelled from Oman for entering the country illegally. One of them was on a blacklist. One was transferred to an investigation center while two others were handed over to the Larkana and Lahore administrations.

As many as 14 people were deported from Saudi Arabia on blacklist, drugs, theft, without passport and other charges. Three rescued victims of human trafficking were deported from Mauritania and two from Senegal.

Moreover, 31 Pakistanis were deported, including 19 convicted of drugs, theft, overstaying, losing passports and other charges in the UAE.

In addition, eight Pakistanis were sent back on illegal immigration to Malaysia, while nine Pakistanis arrived from Addis Ababa and Qatar after they were deported for violating residency laws, absconding and illegal entry.
