Pakistan stands by Kashmiris in their struggle, says Kakar

Says Kashmir is an unfinished agenda of the partition of the united India.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has a very pragmatic and principled stance on the issue of Kashmir, that’s the dispute has to be resolved in accordance with the UN resolutions by giving the Kashmiris their right to self-determination.

In order to ensure the resolution of the unfinished agenda, Pakistan will continue extending its political, moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people till they get their right to self-determination, said caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar.

He reiterated the resolve at a meeting with Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwaar-ul-Haq in Islamabad on Thursday, adding Indian hegemonic design in the region was a threat to peace.

He said Kashmir is an unfinished agenda of the partition of the united India and Pakistan was standing by Kashmiri brothers and sisters in their struggle for right to self-determination.

Chaudhry Anwaar-ul-Haq thanked the Pakistani prime minister for raising voice for Kashmiris at the UN General Assembly. He also said that peace in the region was linked to the peaceful resolution of the issue of Kashmir.
