Political ties between Pak-American community & Congress discussed

WASHINGTON: In a significant step toward strengthening U.S.-Pakistan relations and amplifying Pakistani American political influence, the Pakistani American Republican Club (PARC) met with Congressman Keith Self (Colonel, Ret.), a key member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and a strong advocate for national security.

The meeting, held at the U.S. Capitol, focused on fostering stronger political ties between the Pakistani American community and Congress while also preparing for the upcoming Pakistan-American Congressional Caucus visit to Pakistan. Congressman Self acknowledged the growing role of Pakistani Americans in U.S. politics, particularly within the Republican Party, and expressed his commitment to deepening engagement between the community and U.S. lawmakers.
