DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Ten police officials embraced martyrdom when terrorists attacked a police station here on Monday.
Police said that terrorists attacked the police station in Darban area of Dera Ismail Khan that left six other officials injured. There were a total of 16 police officials on duty in the police station.
After carrying out the killings, the terrorists escaped grom the area. Officials said that police and other law enforcement agencies have launched a hunt to trace and arrest the culprits.
Terror attacks on security forces and police have increased manifold in Khyber Pakthunkhwa and Balochistan provinces in recent months while government is trying to enhance security for the Feb 8 general elections.
