Chaudhry Muhammad Uzair
ISLAMABAD: Vice President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter of PML-N and former acting prime minister of AJK Chaudhry Muhammad Uzair passed away in Islamabad on Wednesday morning.
He remained three times members of the AJK legislative assembly, senior minister and acting prime minister.
The funeral prayer of the deceased was offered in Islamabad and attended by senior politicians. His dead body was later taken to Haveli in Kahuta.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in his condolence message remembered him as an active politician in AJK politics.
With the death of Chaudhary Uzair, the AJK politics has become bereft of a shining star, he remarked.
