ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police Islamabad Ali Nasir Rizvi on Tuesday evening told his force that Islamabad will be cleared of all those who have reached there to create law and order situation under the garb of ‘peaceful protest.’
The police chief met officials on duty to maintain law order as thousands of PTI workers and leaders marched to D Chowk in Islamabad headed by Bushra Bibi, wife of jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The IGP told the police that they have to first of all arrest those who had instigated the marchers and were behind the plan to march on the capital and spoil the peace and tranquility of the city.
The police chief told his officials and officers that they should deal with the law breakers with an iron hand and said that many police officials were injured at the hands of the protesters.
He also said that some foreign elements were also among the protesters and we have to arrest and bring them to justice.
