Corona vaccine will be available in Pak by March next year , Dr. Faisal Sultan

Ministry of Health has announced that Corona vaccine will be available in March 2021. Special Assistant to Prime Minister Dr. Faisal Sultan has said that the vaccine will be provided free of cost to all medical personnel, in the second phase over 60 years of age and in the third phase to the general public.

Dr. Faisal said that representatives of health ministry, DRAP and the World Health Organization have been included in the committee set up for the purchase of vaccines. Will it be approved by another authoritative body or not? DRAP’s group of experts has been formed to test the vaccine, it will decide. The efficacy of the vaccine will also be taken into account.

SAPM on health said that they are in touch with different countries for the purchase of vaccines. It was very important to allocate funds for the purchase of vaccines which is done. While, the purhase of the vaccine will be different from usual, it is to check which is a useful vaccine?
